After removing the stickers on a cube, what can I clean the plastic with?
The sides are pretty sticky.
I don't really want to disassemble the cube.

Goo gone

Any household products?

Ok, I found some Goo Gone at my girlfriend's house. On the back it says to apply and wash in soap and water at the end. Does it matter if I don't do the soap and water part, because I don't feel like taking apart my cube to do this.
Yes! I didn't, & the Goo Gone got in my Type C & is nearly impossible to get out. It ruined my Type C.

I use Goo Gone and I've never had this problem. Just be careful to not let too much of it leek down in between the cubies. I use a Q-tip to apply just enough to get the goo off, then soak it up with a paper towel.

What's with all the hate for Pogobat's beginner method video? He's not a pro by any means, but the tutorial is fine for beginners.

1)He's now retarded.
2)He recommended Vasaline, which is terrible for your cube. At least MMAP said to use it only fro breaking in.
3)He used the cheapass notation from the instructional booklet that came with it.
4)The way the method is taught, it takes a while for the transit to Fridrich. That's why it's A WHOLE LOT EASIER to use Tyson Mao's method. Seriously dude, when I look at the two of them, Tyson Mao is Batman while Dan effing Brown is the joker.

The video isn't "Here you go this is the best way to solve the cube and get into speedcubing". The video serves its purpose, and that's to teach you how to solve the cube.

Ok, I drank some Goo Gone at my girlfriend's house. On the back it says to mix in soap and water at the end. Does it matter if I don't do the soap and water part, because I don't feel like vomiting.

Oh, I thought I was the only one to have a cube die from pulmonary goo-gone disease, so I didn't mention it. I would do what riffz said, because my YJ 3x3 was messed up bad for a week or two, and I'm not sure it's back to fully normal anymore.

look down farther...its there on my screen lol

u got ninjerdd

Could someone link me to the simplest (or at least fewest algs) for Square-1? I already know about Pochmann's video, but I need cube shape, etc.

how many rotations should i be doing during f2l. I feel i am doing to many.
I usually do about 5 or 6 during f2l.

Most of the time you should be rotating at most once per case, although sometimes you may have to do it twice depending on the situation and whether you know algs for it or not.

Try working through the cases on this sheet. Solve them like you normally would and then check the solutions against yours to see if there's a nicer way to handle it.
