Can I get some links to words to associate with letters that you have for each sticker for BLD. I already found some in the wiki. But I would like to find some more and compare to see which ones I would like to use... Or just to give me my own ideas

http://www.speedcubing.com/chris/memo-images.html

 at Chris' list, I think it will take a very long time for me to move into big cube BLD solving!!!

Some that I use for my BLD attempts:
White Green: By bathroom (mostly white tiles, some green accents)
Green White: flowers/plants (mostly green, some white leaves)

Blue Yellow: bananaman (mostly, well, you get the idea by now...)
Yellow Blue: Train (color sceme of Dutch trains)

Green Orange: parrot
Orange Green: carrot

I also use some items that have a very specific meaning to myself. For instance some products that I developed for work. They had a specific color scheme when they where first released. These color shemes I will never forget so they make very good markers.

So in my twisted stories it could happen that bananaman is grinding a parrot through a food mill in my bathroom and then feeds it to prince willem-alexander.
BlueYellow- GreenOrange - RedWhite - Greenwhite - BlueOrange

Prince willem-alexander: Blue blood / of Oranje (orange)
If it fits the srory better I may use some other members of the Dutch royal family.

For separting edges and corners I am using the same markers but make the stories in different languages. Dutch for corners, english for edges.

is the k4 method faster than reduction method for 4x4

Neither is faster, methods don't have speeds.

Most people prefer Redux, or the reduction method because of its simple concept. It is by far the most commonly used bigcube method because it is very easy to understand, and requires very little other than intuition and a basic idea of what needs to be done (throughout solving the centers, and edge pairing, usually OLL and PLL "parity" are solved with algorithms).

K4 on the other hand involves a lot of blockbuilding, commutators, and conjugates. It is a combination of reduction, blockbuilding, edge pairing, and direct solving. The F3L and ELL can be hard concepts to grasp, and learning individual algorithms for the cases can be rediculous, which is why a good understanding of the 4x4 is needed for getting good times with K4.

ok thanks but do you know any people that use this method and there times if you do

I know that Kirjava himself (the one who invented the method) uses K4, and he has a video here. Dan Cohen also uses Yau, which starts in a similar way to K4. It is talked about here. He holds the WR single for the 4x4, at 36.46 seconds.

I use K4, however I'm not very fast with either. I average about 1:45 with K4 and like 2:00 with reduction. And my official 4x4 times are with K4.

If the magic is solved but have a corner landed on the timer when it was stopped would that count as DNF?

I average around 1.1-1.2 and I always have that happen to me, so frustrating.

Anyone?

What is the simplest pyraminx method? Something with few algs (intuitive would be great). Is it Bob Burton's method or something like that?

Most of these tutorials are confusing me, so I've tried to come up with my own. So far I can easily get through it except for the last three edges. Is there a simple alg I can use (probably several times) to solve L3E? Or if there's a small number of cases, can I find some algs for them?

EDIT: Never mind, I found them.

You can always use bob burton's lolmethod, it works every time and no algs!

Any great tips on how to get from ~30 to ~20?
I know practice practice practice and go slow and look ahead, but what else?

You really only need go slow to look ahead f2l pairs 1-3? after that you can increase your tps because its all algs (if cfop) + last f2l case which you should know from there?
