How can I improve my LL without learning full OLL?
If I can improve my LL to about 4 seconds, I can be sub 16...

If you can already turn to a good tps (say, 5-7), then the only real ways I see that you can improve on is:

1) learn da OLL's narb!!!! But you obviously don't want to. :D
2) Improve your algs. Go through each alg and look through the wiki if there's better one (if you haven't already)
3) Just let time allow you to improve it. This is what I did. Simply practicing allowed me to recognize cases faster and I naturally developed better fingertricks without me even knowing it.

PLL time attacks work for some people... but I've never seriously done them.

I also have the same problem, my F2L is around 7-11 seconds, yet I average around 15.

I don't care about 3x3 though

Do MHZ/FII/AV cubes always come with red/blue/yellow cores? If not, is there any way to guarentee that colour of core?

All type a cores are yellow.

I've just seen pictures of C4U/FII cubes with white cores, and I really want to make sure I get the coloured cores so I can name my cubes Red, Blue, Yellow, Black, and White.

All type A(guo jia) cores are yellow. I dont know about type F's(Sheng En0) or MHZ(C4Y). But I'm pretty sure that C4U cores come in 3+ colors.

Yea, I'm not to worried about the AV, because it's core is "fatter" than others.

I'm pretty sure that F's are white, and FII's are blue, but I've seen an FII with a white one.

C4Y = C4U no? What 3 colours? How should I guarantee the colours I would like?

EDIT: A green one? That's awesome... I just wish I could make sure of it.

If I were to contact PopBuyingJack while placing my order, could I ask him for the colour of cores that I would prefer?

Probably not, but if you want to try, take note they get back to work on the 21st.

Hmm. I might just order the cubes, and if any of them have the same colour core as one that I already have, I'll just try to buy/trade/order off of C4U for a different one.

Are you making a rainbow core collection?

Kind of, I'm going to have each cube have a different colour core, this way, I can tell which one it is with extreme precision. Also, then I can name them after the Pac-Man ghosts (AV = Clyde, C4U/C = Blinky, FII = Inky, Rubik's = Pinky, JSK = ???).
