Try to recognize common finger tricks like R U R' U. Practice until you know it blindfolded. No one said it'd be easy.

Spray it in, and work it in A LOT! If you let it freeze, the lube will make pieces stuck together and touch to pull apart. If you're using CRC, disassemble and spray. If you're using Jig A loo, pop out an edge and spray.

I guess your opinion counts for more. Your picture is correct, but only coz your maru sucks. I prefer ES to your Maru. IMO, a well lubed and tensioned Maru, is better than all the ll I've tried.

I line them up on some PLLs. It just depends on the PLL I run in to.

I don't. I just do U/U'/U2 to set it up and execute the alg, then realign once I'm done.

I ALWAYS align before solving PLL, but most people dont.

Depends. I only align if it's A or V, still can't tell unless I have them in the correct position
