I got a 7x7 today.. It's pretty cool (3x3 is SO small now) but it moves kinda slow. Is it useful to lube with silicone?? Because I haven't lubed it yet but I already got 2 POPs. Not very accurate turning I guess. But will it make it pop more?
I'd just break it in. Mine is great, and I never lubed it.

all the pieces are made in a generic mold. Each piece is fractionally different. When you assemble the cube, the pieces will not sit perfectly together. Breaking in is the using of the cube so that the pieces meld together and become "familiarised". Thats the way i like to think about it

Buy new shoes and immediately use them for a long run/walk. (This might hurt because the leather isn't softened yet)
Buy a new cube and immediately use it for a competition. (This might cause bad times because the plastic isn't smoothened yet)

How does one clear their inbox in youtube completely? The top bar and the homepage box both tell me that I have an unread/new message despite my inbox being empty... Any ideas?

=] I found a solution today. Click on comments and then click the comment that it shows, and then click on inbox. Repeat until the comments are clear. Really, this works =].

Ah, my youtube says that I have personal messages not read, not comments I'm afraid. Since all of my PMs are deleted, I really dunno what I'm gonna do... Might try clearing cookies or something.

Could someone tell me how to close my website? It's a website builder and frankly I didn't make the site, someone else did. I'm the content writer and my friend is the one who set up the account and does the formatting and stuff but he's not on at the moment. The link to it is in my sig any help appreciated.

what it the difference between a speed rubik's cube and a regular one that is greased up? This is a 3X3X3 question.

A DIY cube has adjustable tension, whereas any cube can be lubricated.

Ok I have other questions.
I just recently got "silicone spray". I got the liquid wrench kind. I tried looking for CRC. I checked walmart and 2 other stores, but I couldn't find any. I decided to just settle for liquid wrench. I spray it once. It make my store bought cube worst. I tried to spray it again after a few hours thinking I just didn't put enough, but it didn't work. I tried to wash the silcone of but I don't think I got all of it since it still feels alittle sticky. And my cube smells so bad I can't stand it. I tried putting soap in while I was washing it, but it still smells. I even put some laundry detergent in too. I also spray some of my body spray and let it sit next to my window for awhile. But it still smells. I mean it's not as bad as it was before but I can still smell it. Does anyone know how to make the liquid wrench smell come off? Also how to get it all off my cube? I might rewash it again later. Is there a proper way to lube with liquid wrench or is it just a really bad lubricant for cubes?
