Thanks, it did another one for ya.. Again the cube is solved but on the bottom layer i have a 3 edge cycle (where the DF edge needs to go into the DR position) what do I do?

2) I am looking for a new 4x4. I am using a mini qj currently and love the size, but it locks way too often. I have a maru, and it is ok, but the issue with the internal mechanism is too annoying for me to really use it. I have used mefferts and rubiks in the past, but the rubiks just sucks and the mefferts feels too bulky. Are there any nice 4x4's out that are roughly the size of the mini qj?

Shengshou/Gh2 if on a budget or Xcube if you have the money.

Carson: X-cube and Shengshou are the size a mini qj and are nice.

X-cube is the best but is about 40$ and Shengshou is 8$

I'm bored, should I practice Colour Neutrality, Multi-Slotting, OLL, Cross Planning, or... uh.. Open Slotting I guess you would call it (using slots without pairs to reduce movecount)?

The maru is like an unmodded 6x6 in that the hidden middle layer can misalign so that a double layer turn is impossible.

And thanks for the tips... Due to the price, I will probably get a Gh2 for now. I have not used an x-cube, so I would hate to sink the money until I have tried one out.

Edit: Scratch that... after reading a few posts, it looks like the Shengshou has the same misalignment issues as the maru.
