But how much did you practice 4 5 and 2? I'm sure you did a lot more 3x3 than others. Either way, I don't think there is an "equivalent".

It really all depends on turning style, cubes, and amount of practice, a fast turner who knows ortega could average sub 7 easily no matter what their 3x3 average is.

12.37 on 2x2, 1:52.28 on 4x4, and 2:52.41 on 5x5 puts you in the same percentile officially as a 30.00 second average does on 3x3.

But 3x3 is a far more popular event, and more people work harder to be best at it, so that isn't relevant.

Meh, hard to say exact numbers, but:

2x2~7
4x4~1:20
5x5~2:10

I average 19-20 and my 2x2,4x4,and 5x5 are like this...

2x2 = 8
4x4 = 3:25
5x5 = 5:25

Maybe it's just cause I suck at big cubes though.

The statistic is, if only for the way that you stated it, but it would definitely not apply to all cubers.

5 corners, 5 edges. 5!*5!/2 permutations. 3^4*2^4 orientations.

No symmetry reductions since the F2L slot removes the possibility of an AUF.
Punch that into WolframAlpha or something, I've gotta run to class.

Note R U R' U*5 twists a center. Not really relevant since its still solved, but yeah.

Thanks for this, I'll use it to finish the 3x3x3 rubenking (4 color scheme). Is there another more effective way to turn the centers in a solved state?

As far as I know, there are two different square-1 scrambling options. One is Face Turn, where edge is worth 1, and corners 2, and you turn them CW or CCW, on either top or bottom.

But how the hell does twist metric work? I've been using iCubeTimer on my iPhone, and the square-1 scrambles seem to be screwy, so I assume it's using twist-metric.
