Lubix is waaay too overpriced. Just get Traxxas 50k or something similar, it costs SO much less, for a way bigger quantity.
Traxxas 50k + 30k, mix half and half and it's very close to lubix (around 39K). Keep the lubix syringe though, you will need it for mixing the diff oils.

Is it really the same? I thought lubix was brand new or something.

I do find it funny that on amazon it had traxxas and cubes as items frequently purchased together and all the comments were cubing related. Maybe traxxas should release a cubing lube lol

Does anyone know US based stores that carry it? like walmart or autozone.

I cant say that it is the exact same viscosity, since Lubix has not revealed that yet. However what I do know for sure, is that it's silicone differential oil. I own Lubix and 50/30k traxxas differential oil, and I can say that Lubix feels like something between 30k and 50k. Heavier than 30k but lighter than 50k.

Traxxas is for R/C cars, works for cubing all the same though.

Finally ran out of my syringe of lubix today.

Is lubix still the best or has something better came out in the past year or so?

Supposedly using differential oil is really good. I'm getting some Traxxas dif oil soon, and people say it works really great, so if you want I can tell you how it is once I get it. (:

Here's a link to the description. (Sorry if you can't view it, I'm on my phone so idk if the link will work for a computer)
