Question: How do I improve my Shengshou 6x6? It's really slow and sluggish when tight, and it pops a lot when it's loose. Do help!
Replace the springs with Dayan 3x3 springs. This will instantly make it a whole lot better.
You can use as many rotations as you want in FMC, and they don't count as moves. Refer to the regulations for what counts as a move in FMC and what doesn't / counts double
Hey guys,
lately i've been having trouble with recognition at the PLL stage.
I average about 27-30 seconds, depends on my mood.
Also; what are your opinions on the "best" cubing shop, that ships worldwide? (Price/shipping/service etc)
Any tips for me? Links? Videos?
Thanks.
Fasttech is pretty good. I've ordered from them twice. Price is excellent and ships free worldwide. Shipping may be slower... up to a month but if you pay just a little bit it's faster. They're not a purely cubing shop but the selection on cubes, lubes, and timers is as good as any.
Recognition... just practice. If you really want, try searching for PLL trainer.
People that do clock: How do you inspect without accidentally making the pins change position?
Right now I'm basically leaving the clock on the table and rotating it like a coin or something but I don't know if that's the best way.
and is there a way to realign the paper thing if it's misaligned without taking the clock apart? (it's a lingao clock if that helps at all) on the darker side, the lower right hand clock looks like it's at 12:30 in the solved state and the lower left hand clock looks like it's at 12:15. (basically is it still competition legal?)
