You don't use algorithms. I know no F2L algorithms (and perhaps therefore I'm not great at it). You just have to try and figure it out for yourself. IT isn't that hard. :)

F2L fast is about figuring out the 5-6 things that have to happen to solve everything and then take shortcuts + finger tricks.

I used to do F2L in over a minute as well.

What was the first 3x3x3 cube with adjustable tensions (springs)? That must have been one of the most important hardware innovations in speed-cubing, but who invented it?

I think it was the old 1980's Rubik's brand.

Also how can I improve my 5x5 center times I solve the in 1.5 min? how can I reduce it down to under 1 min?

How do you swap UF and UR edges on a crazy domino? I hate parity...and the only alg I found to fix this doesn't work O_o. Anybody?

(R2 U R2 U' R2 U2 R2 U2 R2 U' R2 U R2 U2 R2) (M' R2 U2 R2 U2 M R2). The corner that connects to the inner circle should be the FDL corner. (That algorithm came from here.)

I want to buy a guhong v2 and there are a few questions
- i've tried the guhong v2 from a normal cubing shop, and it has this special feeling, compared to the guhong v1, i love it. Does a guhong v2 from lubix also has this special feeling? or should i buy it in a normal shop.
- I've got a lubix fusion, is it the same as the guhong v2? some people say that.
- I've been using a normal Zhanchi as my main cube, for a year now, but it pops and it#s slow, because it has about 100 000 solves, and once upon a time, i lubed it with some destroying lube..., Is the difference between the normal Zhanchi and the lubix zhanchi big? should i buy it?
- what of the two cubes should i buy, or should i buy both of them? I already have a lubix fusion, which is much better then my normal guhong and a Zhanchi :)
Thx

I am attempting to start a cube club at my school. And I have a few questions:
1.) Would you recommend Ghosthands I for beginners?
2.) Does anyone know where to get Ghosthands I for cheap?
3.) Is using a simplified version of CFOP good for beginner? (cross, 1st layer, middle edges, cross on top, sune/anti-sune, T perm and edge cycles.)
4.) Any other suggestions?

1) yeah probably
2) http://witeden.com/goods.php?id=244 (pero este es glow in the dark, no normal ghosthand)
3) sure. Few algs = good. Some might prefer Erik's method though of EO, CP, CO, EP using only sexy moves and stuff.
4) MUCHOS MAS GENTES EN EL CUBO MUNDO!

I originally learned that method and I don't like it. It was hard to switch from that to CFOP. And why have you been speaking in spanish recently?

What would consensus say would be the best solution/guide/printout solution to 3x3.
I'm running a club to teach newbies. I myself learned from some random pdf guide but I'm looking for a short one that isn't long and easy to understand.

Videos would be nice too. (no roux please)

EDIT: Any other nice introductions to general cubing (video montages, etc) would be nice too.

I got some 50k Traxxas to lube up my new non-DIY ZhanChi, so I was taking it apart to lube it like CrazyBadCuber does in his video about the ZhanChi. I came up with 6 screws, 6 springs, and 5 washers. FIVE.

Are the washers common in US hardware stores so I could get some more, or are they specially made by Dayan? I'm fairly sure they're necessary for the cube...
