Why are so many OH solvers using their left hand?

I think most of them are using there right hand to write and do other things but cubing with left, why?

When people solve with 2 hands most of them just hold the cube with their left hand with the occasional L/L' and U' turns. They usually use R,U, and F to solve the cube and it's easier to turn those layers with your left hand for OH. I use my left hand partly because it's so much weaker than my right hand and it's helping my piano/violin/other stuff that requires a good left hand and because I only use R, U and F to solve my cube.

if an edge peice pops out and you finish the solve in comp do you have to put it back in or is it a valid solve

I know this sounds wired but I don't think I can so R / L' / L Properly?

For the Right face I use my thumb in front and my index middle and pinky finger in back. For L/L' I use the same but Inverted do I can do the same.

You dont need a fixed way to turn. Just do what is comfortable in the situation. For example in the H perm R2U2RU2R2U2R2U2RU2R2 you can use your right wrist for R2U2 then R with your left ring finger.

Or in the U perm R2'U'S'U2SU'R2 you can grip with thumb on UR and middle finger on DR so you can do S' with your thumb.
