I don't do cross on left but I assume that it would be highly recommended to do F2L intuitively just as if you were doing cross on bottom.

My question:
I dissambled my Dayan 2x2 (completely, screws, springs etc.) but I can't get it back together properly. I've screwed in all the screws and assembled it and it looks fine, but when I turn a side, the screw pops completely out and the whole side falls apart. This has happened no less then 10 times. Most recently, I can't even get the pieces in without the screw popping out. When I put in an edge piece on the centre the screw pops out.
What could I be doing wrong?

Any fingertricks to get this Pi CMLL fast?

Perhaps your tensions are too loose?
Maybe your core is stripped. If you put the screw in without the centers, does it come off easily?

R' F2 U F2 U' F2 U' F2 R

I do a kind of regrip/y' rotation after the first R' so it's executed more like R' y' R2 U R2' U' R2 U R2' y R

The U moves are all done with left index. It's reasonably fast, and fun to do, although I've been told that that alg is pretty hard to do really fast e.g. sub-1.

Edit: fixed rotations

This is epic! Thanks. (It's y' by the way) I'll play around with the alg and see what I can do. I can't do lefty OH flicks because I do OH right handed. :(

Is there a way to incorporate left flick and right flick into your solves after two years without completely relearning all the algs with a U2?
My tps is really bad when I have a U2 heavy solve

I just picked up my crazy 3x3x2 after leaving it scrambled for a really long time, and when trying to solve the inner circle, I get a parity. Imagine a 3x3x1 with every piece solved but one edge is yellow on both sides and one is black. so i cant R2 to switch them. Any ideas?

I have tried the 1/2 M slice parity fix many times. maybe i am doing it wrong.

Nup, the screw stays in fine without the centres.
I should add, last time I assembled it, I made sure each side was really tight and then it worked fine and turned fine for a few minutes. I did a few solves and then one side exploded as has happened each time.
Any ideas?
