Hey everyone,

So i've recently purchased a Dayan Zhanchi from speedcubing store and it closely resembles a Fangcun  The center caps have no dayan engraving on them and it feels like a fangcun.
Has anyone else experienced this problem?

Hey no offence intended, it was meant light-heartedly. Don't screw up school though, it's more important than cubes!

I won't mess up school XD I have those teachers that stand up and ramble about things I already know. I do my homework and get good test scores, so being able to use the forums during the day is just a fun bonus :D

Now now, I don't spam. I'm on the forums a lot because I have it on my phone and my classes in school are boring as crap. Besides that, I like helping people. I make an effort to help people here :P
I don't spam either, and from what I've seen nor does Username, and we're the top 3. And I know what you mean about liking helping people... it's addictive. Sadly, I'm not good enough to help most people, so I have to help slower people. Fortunately for me there are more of them, and they don't search as much because many of them haven't been on the forums for long enough to know where everything is.
It's most likely a Fangshi, then.
Don't you mean FangCun? I don't think a cube that looks and feels like a FangCun is a FangShi :p

Heh.

What store was this exactly? I'm guessing they sent you a Fangcun since the internals are nigh on impossible to differentiate.

I'm too tired for this. I'll fix my post.

For D2 Double flicks(read:A perms), i perform the double flicks using my right hand ring and then pinky, not the other way around as I see often in videos. I think my hands are too long to perform the pinky move first. Is this a problem, or is ring-pinky a viable option? And should I switch to left hand ring-pinky?
Sorry for asking this question again, but it was sort of ignored 3 pages back, and I'll assume that it would never be answered if I didn't mention it again

Honestly, do whatever is faster for you. I personally do things like 4-3 flick or 4-double flicks for D2.

If you want to see something funny ask people how they do M2. Chaos may result.

I know this isn't a speedsubing question, but I searched the forums and found no definitive answer.
(Zhanchi) IS PRIMARY PLASTIC ACTUALLY BETTER AT TURNING? I don't care about recognition.
I would prefer someone who has the same cube in primary and regular to give me your opinion.
Thanks.

The One Answer Question Thread

How do you guys do M2?

There's two ways I know of.

1. Uses only the right hand, first flick with your ring finger, second flick with your middle finger. This is the way I prefer.

2. First flick performed with either right or left ring finger, second flick performed with the ring finger of the other hand.

Nah. I have one. It feels different than most Zhanchis I've tried, but I think that's just the way I have it set up.

Yeah, I use left hand 3-2 flick.

Edit: I meant ring-middle finger double flick, 3-2 was referring to fingerings for string instruments.

This guy on Facebook who avg's 1 Minut 30 seconds claimed he got a 26. Xy single I didn't believe him then he posted the scramble........ It was a 23 move in a row just outer layers and then 2 inner moves. Conclusion : te got a 2 move redux and 0% change getting either parity's soils this legit ?

Post scramble?

How do you deal with a squeaky spring on a new cube?

Lube the core if it really bothers you or unless the strings are already placed incorrectly or you can see an obvious decrease in performance. Otherwise, don't bother because you may put it back incorrectly.
