Hey everyone! What would be the appropriate forum section or subforum to post a written store review that isn't accompanied by a video? Not a hardware/cube review, but a store in general? Thanks all!

If the store has an official thread on the forum, that would be a good place to put it.

mf8 super square 1 turning quality

I just bought an Mf8 super square 1, but the turning quality is horrendous. The actual layers turn ok, but the slice is terrible. And the circular part doesn't always turn with the cube. I have lubed it but there was not a huge difference. Any suggestions?

I lubed mine with diff oil and it was much better, Try overlubing it =)

Actually, looking around on cubesmith, I realized that they have calendar cube sticker sets, which I've always wanted. :D They're like $4, and I really only need that so it shouldn't be too bad. Thanks for the help.
The calendar stickers are awesome and really worth the price. You can see them in any of my videos except for the CBC race submission: http://www.youtube.com/user/BrainOfCubing/videos

Just like any cubesmith sets, very durable. Had mine for over a year now, and they can go for a quite some more time before I replace them.

And what is the recommended forum section if the store doesn't have it's own official thread in the Puzzle Shops section?

Maybe just the hardware area or general cubing discussion. Do a search first to make sure there isn't an existing thread about the store. If you put it in the wrong sub-forum, it will probably just get moved anyway.

Based on my experience it will be deleted. The shops that are presented pay for their ad-space, therefore reviews of shops that dont pay for the space seem like free ads to the the ones that are actually paying for the space. I did a video review of Fasttech.com (I'm not affiliated to anything) to raise awareness and it was deleted for this reason.

Kinda sucks from the point of the view of the customer aka us cubers, but the site needs money to survive so I think it's ok.

I've heard people say that smaller cubes like 50 mm are good for OH. I'm thinking of buying this from the Cubicle, and it comes with a choice of any size ZhanChi. I already have a stickerless, and I'm interested in getting into OH. What size do you recommend for an OH cube? I'm thinking of getting a 50 mm (that is, if I buy this bundle).

Unless you have REALLY small hands, get the 50mm.

IMO, 50 mm is really small even for OH. I would say my hands are relatively small-average and I use a 55 mm. My fingers get kind of tangled up and don't really have space to move around when I use a 50.
