Try going to qqtimer, select 3x3 subsets in the drop down box, and select PLL.

Dayan Zhanchi 3x3x3 piece fell out during disassembly?

I was disassembling the cube for the first time, and when I am done, I notice there is a small piece that is on the table. It looks sort of like a piece that attatches to the edge piece, but it seems slightly different. The cube seems to function properly without it. Does the cube need this piece to function. If so, where does it go? Did it pop off, or break off?View attachment 2691, View attachment 2692
I know the pictures are bad, but if you could tell me what it is, and whether I have permanently damaged my cube, that would be great!

It's an anchor for the edge piece. It's also called a torpedo. You can take an edge piece apart into two different pieces, and insert it in between. It's fixable, don't worry.

Just check all your edgepieces, and you will find one that hasn't got that bulge thingie in there.

Just pull the two halves apart and you can see how it fits in the edgepiece

Torpedoes don't interfere with the turning mechanism at all but they're there to prevent pops.

You should already know the bottom PLL when you have inspected. Then you only need to recognize the top layer case which is not hard.
