Whats the yellow color code for QQTimer?

FFFF00
Hexadecimal explanation:
It's split into 3 sections, Red, Green, and Blue. So the first 2 are red, then 2 green, then 2 blue: #RRGGBB
You count in base 16 for each of the "sets", so it ranges from 0 (00) to 255 (FF). So like 00, 02, 03,...,09, 0A (10), 0B, 0C, 0D, 0E, OF, 10 (17), 11, 12,...,19, 1A, 1B, 1C,...,1F,...,9F, A0, A1,...,F0, F2, F3, F4,..., F9, FA, FB, FC, FD, FE, FF (255).
So you mix the red green and blue quantities to get a color, so here are some common colors:
white: FFFFFF
black: 000000
red: ff0000
orange: ff9900 (or around there)
yellow: ffff00
green: 00ff00
blue: 0000ff
purple: 9900ff

Stuff in my Zhanchi

So i was just doing some solves on my zhanchi and i noticed some white stuff that looked a bit like dandruff( but no one in my family has dandruff so..) it doesnt seem to be harming the cube but its a bit annoying cos everytime i clean it just comes back....

heres a pic its not very clear but you can still kind of see what i mean
So any ideas what it might be or what i can do to fix it?
Thanks in advance :D

Is a Square-2 allowed in competitions for the Square-1 event?

I remember someone asking Mike if he can compete in 2x2 using a 3x3 cube in the weekly comp, and Mike said no. I guess the same rule applies. Anyway, WCA regulations dictates that

3h) Modifications that enhance the basic concept of a puzzle are not permitted. Modified versions of puzzles are permitted only if the modification does not make any additional information available to the competitor (e.g. identity of pieces), compared to an unmodified version of the same puzzle.

Here is my question: I am stuck at the 20-29 second area and trying to get to the 15-19 second area. I solve the cross around 5 seconds, f2l is 8-13 seconds, oll is 3-6 seconds, and pll is 2-3 seconds. I saw a video saying that it would help if you get under 3 seconds for your pll's and I am just wandering how exactly do I do that? Yes, I picked algorithms I liked and have known my pll's for about a month now. Also any good videos on cross tips to get under 5 seconds?

Edit: I use full pll and 2 look oll. I have gotten sub 20 average before of 18 seconds but it was lucky. I mostly average around that 20-21 second area. The PLL and OLL time include recognition

One good way to grasp the idea of blockbuilding is to learn to keyhole. Keyholing is similar to blockbuilding because you can place a corner in the correct place and insert the edges that should be by it by matching them with one of its correct centers and lining it up with the corner by moving the corner out of the way and replacing it. Don't expect this to be as fast as the cross, because it takes more thinking. I think this is the main reason Roux has always been just a tad slower than Fridrich.

i have to choose one from above:
Zhanchi vs GuHong
white vs black
stickerless vs non-stickerless
...
which one ? :(

i'm also interested about sprays, are these the right ones:
http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_s...+lubricant,aps,419&rh=i:aps,k:spray+lubricant
??

A lot of those sprays contain acetone, which will eat away at the plastic. This can potentially be a good thing because it can make the cube smoother, but if you do not want acetone, I know for sure Food grade CRC silicone (in the green can) does not have acetone.

That's totally different from roux blockbuilding. And anyway UWR for ao100 is done with Roux, so they can be equally fast. Methods don't have speeds, remember?

also, since when does more thinking -> less fast?

by thinking a bit more, you can be more efficient, thus with same TPS you get things done faster?

Methods don't have speeds, remember?

That is hardly fact. It's just what someone said so people could use it to stop arguing about their preferred method. Methods do kind of have speed. It's just not easily defined.

MC / TPS = Time

I am talking about practical usage, even for exceptional human beings. To exaggerate, no human being can do anything close to a thousand turns per second, but for argument's sake let's say there is someone. Even then, if your particular method happened to be "M-Cubed" (Million Moves Method) it would still take him 1000 seconds.
