Does anyone know any finger tricks for the R'FRF' trigger starting at home grip and ending at home grip? The home grip is the standard grip you would use for F2L. Thanks!

R' - normal, have right index on BUR
F - Right index
R - Push with right thumb on BDR
F' - Push with right thumb from DFR to RUF

Score = number of cubes solved - number of cubes unsolved.

8/11 = 8 - 3 = 5

Within a number of points it's ranked by time.

Are there any tips of 6x6 I'm curantlly AVGing around 9:30.xx and want to be around 6/7 min. I don't want to hear the answer PRACTICE I want real tips like tips of edges and centers.

Post a solve video! Then we can see what parts you have the most trouble with.

What new method should I learn?

Hi. I have been cubing for about 2-3 months now and I used the method that is in the booklet that is included with the cube I bought. It is a layer by layer solve and other solvers at my school refer to it as the "Rubik's Method". My fastest is roughly 1:12 and average out of 5 is about 1:28. I feel I am ready to learn and F2l but I don't know which one or how to do it. I tried learning Fridrich from Jessica Fridrich's website but it was too confusing. If someone could tell me where to find a certain video or guide and which method to use, that would be great. Thanks.

I can highly recommend Badmephistos tutorial. That´s how I learned Intuitive F2L and a lot of other stuff about cubing.

How many moves do you take? Try to be as optimal as possible. Don't speedsolve, but take as much time as you need to get it down to 8 moves or less, and to the point where you are able to do the whole cross without looking. It's hard work at first, but it's worth it. Even some fast cubers (Sarah, so I've heard ) don't plan the whole cross during inspection, and are still able to get fast times. Once you get that down, focus on cross to first F2L pair transaction. It makes a huge difference if you can do it well.

Zhanchi vs Guhong: is a matter of preference, personally I like the Guhong, try looking for comparisons of them online.
White vs Black: I have a white cube and I wish I had black, white after a while looks really dirty. Also white stickers on white cube look kinda weird so some people put black stickers instead of white.
Stickerless vs stickered: Stickerless cubes are illegal in competitions, but are much better for carrying around/putting them in your pocket, you don't have to worry about the stickers at all.

Try fasttech.com, they have really really cheap cubes with free shipping worldwide. The main downside is that the shipping times take long (sometimes a month) from what I've heard, never tried ordering from them but many people from the forum did.
