Amazon Dose not sell the Cubic V-cube 3x3.

probably noone on amazon is CURRENTLY selling it, just because noone is selling it CURRENTLY, does not mean they didn't sell it at the time of Isaac Paurus, and yeah i've only seen pillowed vcube 3s at marbles, but i don't go to marbles for buying cubes

Show me the link to the CUBIC V-cube 3x3 on amazon? BTW Marbles the brain store only sells the pillowed one.

the link to the CUBIC vcube 3 says it "expired" (i still had it in my bookmarks from when i bought it) i think that means that the seller took it down. but yeah i just noticed that about marbles the brain store.

Is it legal to wear a bandaid on your finger in competitions when you're doing OH? I always scrape off a bit of skin when I OH solve for a long period of time, and when I put on a bandage on my forefinger, it makes turning U a lot easier.

nope.
Yes, obviously. I'd be highly surprised if you got DNF'd for it at least, cause it's not specifically stated in the regs.

Tips for breaking in a Shengshou 5x5?

I just bought a ss5 at the recent houston competition (this very day in fact) and i wanted to have some other people's opinions on how to lube it, mod it, and overall breaking it in. I've searched on the forums and found differing opinions ranging all the way from modding it to mere tensioning and not even lube. My available lubes are Jig-a-loo, CRC, and traxxis (like a silicone shock oil thingy, basically lubix). I want this cube to turn out as good as possible so any advice at all is appreciated.

How to connect thy QJ timer to the computer (I dont care what timer)

I used CAL Cube Timer and it worked.

-Plug in and turn timer on, start CCT, and go to options
-Under "Keyboard Timer" uncheck "Use keyboard timer"
-Then go to File>Configuration>Stackmat settings and select the correct "mixer" under the pull-down menu
-At this point, you should go back to the main window and try to test it to see whether or not you need to check any boxes in the "Stackmat settings" tab. Each box will fix the minutes, seconds or hundreths value (this will make more sense if you encounter the problem. With my QJ, I had to check them all 'cause I was getting times like 15:178.189)

As for using with PPT, no luck yet. So far (without messing with any code) I can only get PPT to sense that I've plugged in a timer and that I've started the timer. Once I start my QJt PPT records my time as ~0.2 seconds, even if I just let my QJt run.

Thanks, i forgot about configuration totally. Unfortunately it still doesnt work though, it runs for about eight seconds then messes up. And I can only do one solve. Looking at samples from the audio it gives out, i can see that the amplitude fluctuates a lot, perhaps it's that? Any ideas on systematic ways to configure it?

I find that going at a lower sample rate makes the timer vomit out times like 15:165.165 repeatedly, but higher ones make the timer always 'off'.

LOL
How big is an A CC cubie?

lol Didn't see that before

I now realize I could very easily find this out for myself, given that the sticker dimensions are on the website and I can measure the cube :fp

Thanks anyway!
