n00b question

When referring to the amount of moves in an alg is F2 for example one move? or is it 2 because it's 2 turns. :fp

Which is better SS v4 or xcube?

I got an xcube and a SS v4 for Xmas. Unfortunately my xcube popped and a couple of the pieces are broken ( thanks to my cousin) and I couldn't really compare them. So in your opinion which is better. I still have the SS v4 and love it, but I loved the xcube 4. I'm going to buy an xcube soon, maybe, but need to know if I should just keep the SS or get the xcube.

Thanks in advance!

Stick with the SS. A lot of people had problems with flimsy pieces and lockups/pops with the xcube. Although you might not have caused any yet, it will eventually deteriorate, so don't buy another.

Surely the fact that the brand new cube popped and broke some peices tells you enough information about the quality if it.

Yep that's true so I guess I will stick with the SS. But that doesn't mean the plastics bad because if anyone knows how none cubers are with cubes and how ridiculously they turn them. Well, you see my point. So I will stick with the SS. And do any of you have lubix cubes if so what's better lubix fusion or lubix zhanchi

Questions about the Dayan Zhanchi

I just bought a dayan zanchi today . i started solving it but now after about 5 solves it feels very loose in my hand and i am afraid that if i do it too fast it might break.
a) Does the zanchi normally pop?
b) Will it break if i do it too hard or rough
c)if i tighten the screws what may happen? i am inexperienced in these matters.
d)what should i do??

Tighten it...

In answer format.
A) Not really, depends on your tensions.
B) No...
C) It gets tighter.
D) Tighten it.

I don't fully understand why you have bought a Zhanchi without being familiar with cube in the most general sense. That's not me being harsh, it just seems quite illogical, to me... In my opinion.

my mistake, here's a better question: where can i buy the v-cube 3A online, not from v-cube themselves and not from hknowstore, are there any shops in the US or canada or something that sell specifically the 3A? thanks

Will Cubesmith's round 3x3 stickers work on an Alpha CC, or would the round 4x4 stickers work better, considering the CC is a relatively small cube?

How to connect thy QJ timer to the computer (I dont care what timer)

I don't believe you can, there's no port on the timer, is there? I don't recall it having one in the short period where I had a QJ timer. You can of course just input the times manually in qqtimer
