That thread was dead from the start. The main person behind it (at the time) had never seen a dayan cube (you'd really need to know in great detail what does and doesn't work about existing cubes to have a chance at producing something that is better). Also I'm going to presume to get something really good you need to do a LOT of prototyping, which could easily cost thousands of dollars, let alone the start up cost of manufacturing. Unless you knew you could make something that would outperform any Dayan, there would be no point in actually getting it produced.
Also how would it work designing as a team, whoever makes a change to the cad file would probably need to get a prototype produced to see if the changes are useful, but then who would look at the prototype? would it be mailed between all the different people working on it. I think cube designing requires less people and more iterations.

Yeah, that's pretty much what I figured. Thanks anyway!

Do cube really get dirty so quick? I thoroughly cleaned & lubed my Dayan GuHong V2 (also the core), and after a week, I noticed some grey dirt on the pieces and some black stuff on the screws, it is natural/ or hinders performance? I'm quite disturbed by it and I don't want to clean and relube every week. Thanks :)

This is very common with dayan cubes. It is only the cube dust from the pieces rubbing together. Some people find that the cube dust acts like a lubricant. I however find that it does not effect the preformance of the cube, but just makes it not look as nice. Just lubricate/clean out your cube whenever you feel it to be neccesary.

how long does the lubix lube 2cc stays...by lubing a 3X3 cube....?
which one should i get d39 silicone spray or lubix 2cc lube...?
and how much a 10 ml maru lube stays by lubing a 3X3 cube..?

one more question...
how much time will lubixcube.com and icubemart.com take to ship to india...?

Either it is being broken in, or you cube a lot. Both of these are good signs. Just don't be lazy and clean the thing out every two weeks or so.

Also it may be too tight

Help. I'm having trouble with my signature. I want to edit it but it keeps saying I have too many lines. First off, I think we're allowed 3 lines now? Or is it still 2 lines? But even if I go in and don't change anything at all from what it is now, it still says it's too long. So if I leave it as is without saving, it's fine but if I try to make it the same length, it's not ok. It looks like 3 lines because of the link part. But even if I make it shorter so it appears as 2 lines only, it still says it's too long. Any idea why or what I can do?

I think there is a length limit and a line limit, so if you have 1 really long line, then it won't let you have any more.
