Easy to answer question here and you'll make somebody very happy by answering: can somebody give me the exact standard MF8 Megaminx V2 Tiled colour scheme? I was dumb enough to scramble it without center caps :fp

You can always go with the corners like you would do if you solved a Master Kilominx, but there may be some parity. (Not sure, never solved one without caps.)

With white/black on the bottom, clockwise on the adjacent faces to White/Black it goes

Red -> Green -> Purple -> Yellow -> Blue

Turn it over to the opposite (White/Grey) and place that on the bottom and do the same thing with faces adjacent to White/Grey

Pink -> Light Green -> Orange -> Light Blue -> Light Yellow

Ok, if I'm looking straight on at the White face The top face is Purple, then clockwise around from it is yellow, dark blue, red, dark green.
Now if I do an equivilent of an x2 rotating it so that I'm looking at the opposite face from the white, it's Grey with Pink at the top face, then clockwise around from the pink it's light green, orange, light blue, cream.
Confusing, but I hope that helps... wish I had a camera handy.

Just to double check for you, the opposite colours are:
Purple/pink
White/Grey
Dark Blue/Light Blue
Cream/Yellow
Dark Green/Light Green
Red/Orange

I think his average is pretty safe at the moment. (He can do faster, but I doubt anyone else is so fast.)

As for single however, it only just takes a bit of luck though... Hm. Damn my low SD xD
