Are the zbll algs on the alg database also arranged in a downloadable document? I always end up comparing Swanson's algs with the database algs and don't always like going online to just check a list.

I purchased a lanlan void cube from cube depot. It seems with the void cube that everything has to be lined up exactly. As in no corner cutting at all. and even alternating between U and U' can be hard to do. It really locks up and cant move without proper lineup. Any ideas? or Are void cubes just known to be like this and be more of a collection item rather than something to speedsolve.

I had the same problem with my lan-lan void cube and I modded it so its better want me to make a video on it

ZZ method help?

I am new to cubing and need some help with the zz method. I get the concept but not how to do the first step. If anyone has any websites to help that would be nice. Thanks

Edit:
I need help on the first step where i line up the edges. I have already used the website cube.crider.co.uk but need more help.

You mean forming the line after EO?

Also there's a zz/zb thread in constructive speedcubing if you wanna check out and ask questions there too :D

For solving edges on 7x7x7 cubes, what's it called when you orient the edges first? That is, you take all the white edges and put them into edges together so their white sides are all correct but their other side is scrambled. Then they're easy to fix using slices. Same with the yellow edges. And then orient the last four edges before solving them.

The basic idea is that once the edges are oriented, there are only 12 possible ways that they need to be permuted. That is:
(8) One correct and a cycle of three, i.e. (234), (243), (134), (143), (124), (142), (123), (132),
(3) Two cycles of two, i.e. (12)(34), (13)(24), and (14)(23),
(1) Correct,
which means you only need to know two algorithms for finishing them off, or just one, i.e. (123), if you're willing to use:
(12)(34) = (123) x (143).

So im trying to get good at roux and my blockbuilding is just atrocious. Can any way give or direct me to some block building tips and help?

Easy to answer question here and you'll make somebody very happy by answering: can somebody give me the exact standard MF8 Megaminx V2 Tiled colour scheme? I was dumb enough to scramble it without center caps :fp

Pretty sure this doesn't have a name, because AFAIK, nobody does it. It seems like a waste to me, because it is already so easy to just put the edges together correctly in the first place.
