Well im kind of bored at the moment and im looking for a different method to use. one that isnt very mainstream thats isnt f2l petrus roux zz

For 7x7 edges (last four) is it better to first solve them as 5x5 edges, and then do it again or solve them one at a time using flipping algorithm or do a combination in which the last first one is done with flipping and the last 3 and done 5x5 style? Or are those all wrong and there is a faster approach? Also, is this a fast approach:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ksEBOtkdeq4

Does anyone know what the fastest solve is using the Petrus Method? i like the idea of the method but im not going to put any time into it if its super hard to get really fast with it

And they're also frustratingly awful to screw back in.

Oh noes, really? I thought that after switching springs it'll be a bit better. I think the main problem is the shallow screw head. Is there any easier way to do it, or do I just have to spend another half hour on each screw? :(

I just spent a ridiculously long time on each, no real tricks. Hope you don't have to do anything today :P

It's actually quite late already, I thought I'll be able to change the springs and lube it really quick before I head off to bed, but no chance haha. Thanks for the feedback.

Yuxuibbs, my screwdriver is actually one of the smallest that is the most versatile for most screwing jobs. I use it for practically everything. I'll look for a smaller screwdriver anyway, thanks.
