Alright I bought a Black GuHong. How long does it usually take to ship to Arizona, USA. Is there any difference between the V1 and V2 because I got the V1. Lastly! Can I install the Lubix Torpedos on it? Anybody ever done this?

Heres the link to the Torpedos http://www.lubixcube.com/Lubix_Cube/Purchase.html Its at the bottom!

The difference between V1 and V2 is pretty much just that V2 comes with torpedoes.... You can install lubix torpedoes in it... but I'd wait to see if you actually need them. I always take my torpedoes out of my Dayan cubes as I've never found them necessary... but if you're having a lot of pops, or want to make it super loose, then you can order the torpedoes.

How the heck do you do M' E2 M/M' E2 quickly?
What I do is i grip the left layer with my entire hand and my left ring finger is on the middle layer and my index and middle finger is on the E layer so i first do E2 with my index and middle like a U2 then I do M' with my left ring finger then again E2 and then (R r'). I know that my explanation is pathetic but this is the best I can do BTW i can do this sub 1.5

4x4 questions

Hello Everyone, I am Vivek and I am new in this forum and to 4X4. I was wondering what is the best speedcubing method for 4X4. I tried Reduction method and also the Yau Method. I average about 3 minutes. Is there any faster method than this ? Was also wondering that there must be some way to avoid the two parity cases that we get while solving the 4X4.

Standard reduction, and Yau are the two most common techniques among the fastest 4x4 guys. There is another popular method called K4, however I believe it's harder to learn, and there aren't many super fast people using it.

OBLBL is becoming more popular as well

Guhong v2 remove edge

Hi!

I just got my new Guhong v2 a few days ago.
Now I wanted to lube it.

But... I am not able to remove one of the edges :fp.
I never had this problem on one of my other cubes, but the torpedos seem to do their job pretty well.

I don't want to damage my new cube. Do you know a trick on how to remove the edges?
Or is it just a matter of power?

Make a half turn (45 degrees) with some layer. Then you can twist any of 4 corners 60 degrees. The corner will stay in that position and and it´s now easy to lube the cube.

Actually I wanted to lube the core, so it would be nice if I could remove the edge like I used to on my other cubes. :) Is there really no way?

Try to twist the edge out, be careful not to break it. If that doesn't work, get your screwdriver out and loosen it or remove the center piece from the core completely.

This kind of question would really fit better in the One Answer Question Thread.

Turn the upper side 45 degrees, put your finger under the edge start pulling up and twisting the edge at the same time to the right or left.
It should come up- if not then loosen the tension and try the same way.

Then - e.g. - put the thumb under a corner and an adjacent edge and twist in proper direction!

what I would do is actually twist the top layer 45 degrees as stated many times before, but instead of just twisting the edge piece, use your thumb and ring finger to pull at the corners, the gently twist and pull in the same movement, if that does not work, you probably have it tightened way too much.

It's pretty easy to accomplish with ELL. The wiki has explanations and algs for a few methods like that.

ok thanks
EDIT: I do not really understand how to use the algs. I usually do one layer, tips, and then I use my own algs to solve the rest. It seems that this method (ELL) would not be used after making a solved layer. help??
