5 seconds cross is very easy if you learn how to do that good. If you aren't doing cross on bottom I recommend you to do.
so,cross on bottom is recommended,and time must be aroudn 5-8 secs i guess....
also,gotta practice f2l to reach 20-25
thnx = )

is it possible to use the ps3 move camera to record video onto the ps3 and then post the video on youtube? I know that i can video chat with my ps3, but i want to also record.

I don't think you can record from the move camera onto the PS3, but you could always just plug it into your computer, as it's a very good webcam for it's price.

i spend about 13-16 seconds on cross,30-45 seconds on f2l and about 12-16 seconds on 4LLL
Getting your Cross down to 10 seconds should be a very achievable goal, spend some time planning out your cross (even if it's just 3 of the pieces), and dont worry about how long you spend thinking about it. if you can get the move count down to even 10/12 turns (optimal is usually 8 or less) then you'll need little more than 1 turn per second to get a faster time on it. F2L is where you'll save the most time, but it's also the hardest to get used to, but give it time and you'll get better at recognising the cases and remembering nice ways of solving them. Good luck.

While solving even-numbered cubes (4, 6, 8, etc.), I sometimes don't run into any parity errors during the final attack (3*3*3 solve). Is there any shortcut that guarantees a parity-free final attack, or is it mostly getting lucky?

For OLL parity, you could figure it out during centers, but it's pretty hard. For PLL parity, I have no clue :p

For a 4x4 at least (only "big cube" I have done) OLL parity is the parity alg (Rw2 B2 U2 ...)applied during OLL (you notice there is an odd number of edges), PLL parity is applied after OLL if you get a PLL case that cannot occur on a 3x3 (r2 U2 r2...).

For 4x4, what goal do you think is about equal to sub-30 on 3x3? Like if someone was sub-2 on 4x4, are they approximately the same "level" as someone sub-30 on 3x3? So is it sub-2? or sub-1:30, etc.? And also for 3x3 OH?
thanks

Well I average about 25 seconds on a 3x3, 3-3:30 min on 4x4 and 1 minute OH. Although my 4x4 cube is rather bad, but basically they require some different skills so they aren't as directly related as you would think. If you are asking more like if you put in a similar amount of time to each of them I am not really sure, I haven't spent much time doing OH or 4x4 solves, so I can't really help with that, although I am mildly intrigued myself.

They don't really relate at all. The only thing is the 3x3 stage on 4x4, which will probably be about 25% slower than normal 3x3 (for me at least). With OH, it depends on how much you practice. TheWestonian averages like 16-18 with OH (I think) and 13 with 2H. Michal and Feliks average 11-13 OH, and 7-9 2H. I average 53 with OH, and 23 with 2H.
