I would say:
Cross: 3 secs
F2L: 15 secs
OLL: ~4 secs
PLL: ~3 secs

thanks
well this shows I really need to work on my last layer. My f2l is 9-11 secs. Last layer is 10-12 secs.... And my cross is alright. ~3-5 secs. Depending on how easy the cross is and whether I feel like trying to memo it. Do you think that I should practice doing the cross blindfolded? When I am drilling this (once in a while when I'm somewhere I can be too noisy and I don't have a timer), I can do it about 70% of the time. But it takes me maybe a minute to memorize. Or should I learn full PLL (still using 2 look)?

EDIT: I just timed a little for OLL, and I got an average of 4-5 secs.
And PLL is about 5-6 secs.
And, off topic, but I'm doing PLL training on PPT, and it gave me the scramble U...

Why are the various cubes referred to as 3 by 3, 4 by 4 etc.? The dimensions are actually 3x3x3, 4x4x4 etc. and using the fact that it is a cube you could just shorten it to a 3 cube or 4 cube...

Because you might mistake the 4 cube for the 2x2x2.

I did the Y perm twice, and got 9 turns per second. Is this an alright speed?

Depends what speed you are at and your turnstyle. For me 9TPS would be pretty fast. IMO if you can sub-1.5 it you should be fine for sub-10.

Doing the cross blindfolded is a good drill to get to 1-look cross. To get sub-20, you would have to be very fast to use 2L PLL. So, it is worth learning full PLL. My Last Layer Competition (link in signature) could be a good idea if you want to improve your LL.

Cross could get better by itself, but I'd recommend concentrating on your last layer. For full OLL/PLL people tend to have the last layer take up a third of the solve time, so that would put your overall average around 21seconds. And I'm sure in the time it would take you to get used to those algs your Cross and F2L would be a lot better so you'd definitely be aiming for sub-20

Zhanchi Stickerless Help!!

I don't know what is, but a huge amount of white dust like stuff is coming out from my cube. I haven't lubed it yet, and hasn't did any kind of mod just plain zhanchi.

Lube it. The dust is the plastic being worn away. Also, make sure it's not over-tensioned.

Well you can skip OLL if you want, some people are very fast with 2look OLL. But whatever you do it will take time.
Most of the solve should be F2L so if you really want to get your time down try concentrating on that, work on lowering the move count, will avoiding awkward turning and too many rotations.

Why wont my new core work?

I bought a C4u core, and im trying to put it into my guhong but the screws wont fit.
how do i make it fix?

How do you deal with only knowing some algs of a particular thing? Like when I was learning full PLL after I got about 15 algs down I was so frustrated with only knowing some that I learned the other 6 that day... I am just starting full OLL and I am having these feelings again, I just want to learn the algs as fast as possible so I can actually use them in my solves because I hate like spending the extra time to see if I have a full OLL case I know in my solve or if I need to just do my 2 look OLL, so I learned like 14 algs yesterday...

I don't know why you need extra time to know if you know the full OLL or not. If you know it, then do it, otherwise do the 2 look. It helps if you learn the algs in groups that have similar recognition. When you see the recognition group then you know if you can do 1 look or not without having to know exactly what case it is.

The extra recognition time is due to the fact that with 2look OLL I look at only the edges first and then once they are all oriented I know which corner orientation alg I need, with full OLL you need to look at both which takes a bit longer but I am sure I can get it quite fast, but I work on quick recognition by doing solves after learning all the algs, not by trying to quickly recognize the few algs I just learned in a solve right away before learning new ones...

But anyway, don't really know why I asked the question I know what I am going to be doing for the next few days/week(s) and this system works for me...

How can I clean stickers?

I recently restickered my cube with cubesmith half-bright stickers. Unfortunately, I made the terrible mistake of putting the cube in my backpack for storage. I reaped the horrid consequences of this misstep today. I'm going to a competition this weekend and I fear that the judges will deem my sticker marked and I won't be able to use the cube unless I resticker it (no time to order stickers) or clean it (neither erasers nor water worked). So I was wondering if

1) This blemish is a big enough deal to disqualify the cube.
2) How I could clean it, since I seem to be missing some detail in the cleaning process.

I'm 93.7% sure that the stain is graphite (Picture: http://instagr.am/p/JA_K-qik6k/) I upped the contrast because you can't see it well on film, but pretend the line is gray and stands out a lot. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance :D

If you explain the accident, then they might give you the okay. But if they don't, just use a different cube.
