So I recently made a RubenKing cube, and I orient 5 of the centers when solving, but I don't know how to orient the last layer center piece.

Any algs that just rotate a center piece in place - by 180degrees? by 90 degrees?

Or a method to solve the last layer while being mindful of the center piece orientation?

‎(M' U M) E (M' U' M) E' -- > This will twist the F center clockwise, and the L center anticlockwise.
(L R U2 L' R' U)2 or (R' U' R U')5 --> will turn the U center by 180 degrees.

any good oh h and z perms
for left hand

H perm for left hand: R2 U2 R U2 R2 U2 R2 U2 R U2 R2
I use the right hand inverse: L2 U2 L' U2 L2 U2 L2 U2 L' U2 L2

A good left OH alg would have R and U turns.
A good right OH alg would have the inverse - L and U turns.

I need a right hand 2-gen Z - it would just be the inverse of the left hand alg.

It all depends on your definition of "okay". Most of the fastest solvers use intuitive f2l, oll and pll so you know the kind of times you can get with that method. For what it's worth, I use the same method (average ~12) and say it's okay. Keep practicing!

When starting intuitive f2l, I know you should gain time, but is gaining around 10-15 seconds normal?

Yes. The same happened to me, and after a month, I am around 10 seconds faster than I was before learned F2L. Practice is the key.

And I'm still waiting for the OH right hand Z-perm.
