I have a stackmat timer (because I got if for Christmas years ago when I was into speedstacking). It's pretty durable, doesn't glitch often, and overall works well (and it's a 1st version timer, which could be what you are getting). On the other hand, I have used and seen QJs that are breaking and and can glitch more often.

If you want quality, and don't mind a higher price, I would suggest going with the stackmat.

Why do people say Dot OLL cases are bad or slower?
Is it really more efficient if we learn partial edge control?

I'm really an ***** at these advance LL stuff.
You ask me what's COLL and I'll tell you I dunno.
You ask me what's 2GLL I'll tell you WTF
You ask me what's ELL I'll tell you to jump a lake
You ask me what's VH I'll tell you Vicious Hyena?
You ask me what's ZB I'll say STOP FRICKING ASKINH QUES!!

Jk, but I would still like all my quest answered

Maybe the faster people will know better, but I don't really see a noticable difference between the dot and non-dot cases. I'm wondering if it's just in peoples heads, from when they started with Two look (in which dot cases were the worst kind).

I'd say recognition plays a part towards the dislike. I find it easier to recognise the same corner case with full eo rather than no eo

Is there any good tutorial for assembly of ss 4x4 v3? I disassembled mine to lube properly but I'm unable to assemble it back :(

This is the only one I could find:

I'm not sure how much the v3 differs from others, but there are other tutorials for other versions. They shouldn't be too different. Also, I've heard the mech doesn't differ too much from a maru. Watch different videos and go from there.

What about how to disassemble a Shengshou v3? I've been trying for ages now to get an edge piece out, and it seems that the anti-popping mechanism they have works much too well.
