On the topic of SQ-1 how can I improve on my time to get sub 1 min avg?

Learn the advanced cubeshape method. Couldn't link you to a tutorial or anything but they exist on youtube and there's a chart somewhere with all possible cubeshapes and how to get them to a cube. Using that method the most moves it would take to get to a cube is 7 I believe.

I have my Lingyun pretty tight. Because when it pops it explodes. Lingyuns are super fast even when they are tight.

And you really should use the OAQT for stuff like this. Pretty much all the threads you make could go there. Just tryin' to help. :)

I've been cubing since last year.
And ONLY practiced 3x3 two hand speed ALOT and now I average 13 to 14 sec. usually 13.
I started getting boring so I stared OH and Blind fold. It was okay but i wanted different types of cube.
and bought a 2x2, but still isn't fun enough.
So i'm Thinking of getting bigger cubes.
Im getting 4x4 for sure, and one from the three 5x5, 6x6, 7x7
which ones good to start with?? or play with???

Get a 4x4 first, and see if you like bigger cubes. If you do, go ahead and buy a 5x5 or 6x6. I'd recommend Shengshou VIII for the 4x4, and Shengshou for the 5x5 and 6x6.

Does LingYun Torpedos fit on Zhanchi'si?

Hello everyone! I was wondering if Lingyun Torpedos or Guhong Torpedos fit on Zhanchi's pieces, because it always pops, I already tensioned it but sill popping, also does DIY Kit (Zhanchi) comes with free torpedos or I have to buy it apart?

So I came up with my own 3x3 method and I want to see how fast I can get it. Unfortunately I need some new algorithms. I was wondering if there is a program where you can just fill in certain stickers on the cube and have it generate an algorithm just to solve those stickers. For example, for OLL you would put in the F2L and the top color sticker positions but tell it not to worry about the other stickers on the LL cubies. Does such a program exist, or do I need to attempt *shudder* trial and error?

I have one but I found it 3 years ago and can't find it any more but why not try cube explorer

This should work for you.
I'm interested in your method, would you mind sending me a pm explaining it?
