Hey, he could've created another useless thread. At least it wasn't the most ridiculous question. Cut him some slack.

@Womack It all depends on the person. Music personally helps me, but try it out for yourself.

ok I was thinking of making the thread but then I realized that who would read it and this thread would be the best place to post it

yep tying to stay unband for a mouth

Maybe I should have mentioned, it would also be good, if after typing something, you check it over for errors. In this post, you could have said, "Yep, I am trying to stay unbanned for a month." Using decent grammar will help you gain credibility.

I really need help here!!

I'm trying to tension my v-cube 5, but the center caps are glued to the core. How do I get them off so that I can tension the cube, because it is really tight, and impossible to even attempt finger tricks on.

How to make my zhanchi fast?
It's kind of sluggish
Wash it out (use MMAP's tutorial), and lube it with CRC, Lubix, or Traxxas. Don't forget to tension it.
ok thanks

next Question: can music improve your times?
Listening to some rock band will not cause your sub-40 times to go sub-30. Yeah, it might help you be mentally active, but not by a whole bunch. You can't listen to music (via head/earphones) in competitions.

can music improve your times?

It depends on the music you listen to. If I listen to harry potter I get almost 4 sec faster than usual but if I listen to other stuff my times either stay the same or get worse.

How many pounds are the magic strings usually? I just fixed my magic and the strings all started breaking and I have tons of fishing string. I figured out 25 pound string is too thick. I think I have 10 pound and a very thin 50-60 pound string. Which one should I use to have a magic that won't have strings breaking every couple solves?

Not so cubing related other than the fact that the video I'm talking about is me solving cubes. :P

I just uploaded a video to YouTube. It finished the "uploading" stage (took about 3 hours), and now it's processing. How long should this take? The video is about 4 and a half minutes long.

Jaycee: Maybe 5-20 minutes. Depends on the quality.

Michael Womack: They're alright, but not amazing. Made in China I believe.

ok thanks

Question: if you do the reduction method on large layered puzzles are you reducing it to a much easier puzzle? Also who came up with the Reduction Method?

On nxnxn puzzles you reduce it to a 3x3; generally you solve the centers, then edges, and solve it like a 3x3. Think of each pair of edges, as one piece, and the centers as one piece. There is a picture I like that explains it well, I will try to find it.

^Those first two pictures, helped me understand what reduction was.
