Sub-60 on average if you're using CFOP

Sub-60 average movecount for CFOP isn't awfully common, in my experience. Sub-80 is probably a wiser goal just for sub-30 times.

I gues it's better to say sub-28 F2L.

I'd say sub-35 if you're going for sub-30 times...

Reduction for 4x4, Layer+CLL for 2x2.

Reduction and Yau are the 2 most commonly used methods to solve the 4x4.

So yes, learn reduction and you can look at Yau if you want. Yau is pretty much the same thing as reduction, it's just a different order to do things in.

3-2-2-2-3 is a edge pairing method. You slice, pair up 3 edges, slice back, the do 3 sets of 2 edges, then do 3 again.

Seriously you never inspect the cube before starting to time your solves ? If so, you loose a considerable amount of time ! Inspection is useful to plan the first moves of the solve, for example in CFOP you can plan the entire cross, or even an extended cross (cross + 1 pair).

well, if you do CFOP then you should examine on how your going to make a cross, but i guess for roux you should examine for your first left block.

Nonoo i meant that i never timed my inspection. I usually go over 15 secs inspection. On average I can plan the entire first block on inspection.
