It's not possible to tension a v-6...unless you did the pi mod for the core.

yeah... i wanna get the tensions right because i gotta super glue them in this time. last time during a solve it unscrewed itself and exploded on my table :/

If I purchase the guhong (lonegoose) from ur store, does it come with torpedos or do I have to buy them seprately?

on the 4x4, what can I do after making the top and bottom center, and when I'm pairing up the lines on the side, I get a checkerboard type deal?

What is the texture of Lubix suppose to be like? Is it suppose to be like a sticky gel-like substance? It seems to me in some of the lubing videos I've seen in the past it, it looked more like a liquid than a gel. The reason I'm asking is because mine seems to be more like a sticky gel. And when I apply it to the cubies it seems to slow them down more than speed them up. I'm not using that much at all but perhaps I'm using more than I should be. I do lube the springs and core. But I'm thinking of maybe looking for an alternative. I don't like Jigaloo because it's pretty much eaten my old cubes.

I bought a bunch of cubes off www.CubeDepotUSA.com
They all work really well, but the Wittwo 2x2 was really bad, grinding and not making a good noise. Me and my friend took it apart and tried to lube it with diff oil, but the videos on Youtube said something else. That there were 3 of one type of 'edge' piece and 9 of the other, but mine has 2 of that 'edge' piece and 10 of the other. So right now its just lying in pieces, because I can't put it back together. Have I been sent the wrong pieces? Have they updated the cube to have 2 and 10 rather than 3 and 9? I don't know, help. I'll get in touch with them, but I just want to know if I've overlooked something or not.

It's supposed to be a sticky gel. If it slows your cube down, you over-applied. You only need VERY little Lubix to make a difference. You can either wipe out excess lube or clean it all out and try again. I reccomend that you use Donovan's method for lubing that can be found on Youtube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1ZMDbAeAoQA (towards the end of the video.)

The more I practice the slower I'm getting, I'm learning new solutions to awkward f2l cases and working my way through the PLL algorithms, shouldn't I be getting faster?

Learning algs takes time. You've got to learn recognition and fingertricks etc. Give it some time, and stop focusing on speed for a little while. Focus now on going slow, turning precisely, and looking ahead during your solve. Your time will begin to drop once you've gotten the new algs committed to muscle memory a little more.

should i learn reduction for 4X4 or something else?

I guess the answer you are looking for is: Yes, learn reduction.

But the real answer IMO is: Learn whatever you want.

Or: How are we suposed to know what you should learn?

I think you should ask something more specific if you want more useful responses than the ones above.

any one had try the cubesmith lube? i want to know if its better than lubix or same thing and if it worth the price. plz just answer people that had use both
