Generally, yes. Depends on the lube but it shouldn't hurt.

yes and yes. lil bit maru lube for the sides of the cubies. try to get a tiny bit of thicker silicone oil like lubix for the core and inner mechanics.

If you keep on practicing lookahead by slow turning, will faster turning while still maintaining lookahead just come by naturally as you practice more? Or do you have to eventually practice lookaead with faster turning? Thanks.

When your doing f2l and not looking at the edge/corner pair your solving, where are you supposed to be looking at the cube

I've always practiced slow turning. Ive also always been a slow turner.
And I've been getting faster.

From my experience, just keep slow turning and speed will come, with strong lookahead skills.

Not really, I just look at it from different angles.

You generally want to avoid those unless you have to use them. They actually slow down your solves a bit.

my dayan 4x4 is very slow, what can i do? it is lubed with shock oil and jigaloo. I have tightened the screws all the way on the 2x2 core and the shields.

don't tighten the core, only the shells, if i were you i would loosen the core
