I tried doing EOCross with that and got this:
x2 U D' B L' D F' R' U2 L2(9 Moves)

Lol that was funny.

U L2 R2 D R2 L' F D B D2 F U' F R2 F L F2 D' F2 L2 R' B R2 L2 B
White top, green front.
How would you do the white cross?

EDIT: NVM. This is hardware area. :P
Hm. Weird. Many question NOT about hardware get asked here.
So allow me to answer your question :-)
Cross on the right:
z F' R' F' U' D' F2 L' D B'
Is what I would do. Gives a simple X-cross.

fail.

someone else?

wtf.
anyway the answer to your question is:
When you want to.

Who can ever tell you when to replace your core?
Uhm. You. That's it. When you feel the core is getting bad, replace it. When you simply have the urge to switch cores, do it.

Incidentally, I switched my cube's core 2 days ago because my black type c core screws were coresing problems. So I switched it with my white one.

Was...Was that a pun?

Also, what is a good 4x4 3-2-2-2-3 edge pairing tutorial and a good 5x5 freeslice tutorial?

how exactly does it feel when the core is getting bad? how does it look like when it's at the point of being unusable?

When it breaks, it's unusable...

yea sorry but that doesn´t cut it. i asked a valid question and u guys choose to dance around it cause u have nothing to say really.
i don't need to be told that i can change something when i want to. or that something is broken when it snapped in half.
i'll just ask somewhere else.

... What do you expect us to say?
You have to understand, we CANNOT tell you when to change YOUR cube, simply because it's yours!
I am not going to bother ranting.
