qj 4x4 or lanlan 4x4?, idc about sticker quality/size

Never tried the Lan Lan, but the QJ is in the "okay" to "bad" area.

I have the mini, but a friend of mine has the normal one - we both agree that the mini is better, so if you get it, go with the mini. It turns very slowly, yet locks up relatively easily, but the feel is actually really nice, and it's very stable (hasn't ever popped on me). The normal one pops all the time yet still turns relatively slowly and can still lock-up easily, though the feel is still good.
So, QJ mini I'd rate 3/5 and the normal QJ, probably 2/5. Don't know about the Lan Lan, though.

P.S. I recommend the Shengshou.

Hey guys so I ordered a lunhui and a guhong and two bottles of lube with them but the lube didnt come
Anyway so my lunhui is amazing!! out of the box but the guhong is crap and I have no lube.. So how could i make a guhong good without lube for the moment??

I have the larger QJ, and after lubing (no modding) It is ridiculously fast, and corner cuts around 1/2 corner. I love my QJ

Grrr. My QJ died after being dropped. It always felt so fragile...
My mini one is much nicer but it locks up. I'll probably squircle it.

If anyone can answer this it'll be good, but I'll start the mod anyway :
Is the squircle mod good for the QJ mini 4x4? Or will it make it pop and stuff?

Edit: done it, and it's AMAZING! I'm compelled to lube it...
Edit 2: yeah, I don't usually lube my cubes.

I first lubed it with differential oil between the pieces, and also inside the track. Then after working it in for a few days, I put some maru on the surfaces (not in the track). Then after working that in I put slightly more differential oil on the surfaces (not much at all, literally a drop or 2)

And due to its corner cutting, it works wonderfully and doesn't pop much.

However I will say that double layer cutting is literally non-existant

It is VIII. I'm not sure if you're mistaken or you type the question wrong, but VIII is the one that is considered "godlyish" not the VII.

On your question: GuHongs are not that bad without lube, perhaps it only needs some tuning. My white GuHong is great and I've never lubed it.
Also you only describe your cube as "crap" so it's dificult for people on the forum to tell you how to fix it.

Not sure, but I doubt you'd be arrested for owning something like a YJ 6x6.
