If you want, you can orientate all the U layer edges relatively easily, with one cross edge flipped.. If there is just one U edge orientated, put it on L and do M' U2 M U' M' U M. If there is just one misorientated, put it on L and do M' U' M U M' U M U2 M' U' M.

Thanks. Is it easy to orient the U layer edges when the cross edge is somewhere on the last layer too?

Noobish question that I'm sure is answered somewhere obvious...how do you take the torpedoes out of the Zhan Chi?

What's the standard size for a regular Rubik's magic? And what's the best brand, cube-twist, Lingao, ghost hand or rubik?

I don't know what the dimensions are for a magic, but it is an 8-tiled puzzle. As for brands, I believe (but I'm not sure) that most magics perform pretty much in the same way once broken in.

Rubik's is really thick and bulky, and overall isn't very good. The other are all good, but I think LingAo is definitely the best. The strings are a little stretchy, so its smoother and less locky. plus it looks the coolest with the black background

Each tile is the same size as a mf8 Legend, a little bigger than a LanLan 2x2. CubeTwist is a good (and popular) brand. Many like the Lingao, too. From my experience, there isn't that much difference between magics when they are broken in.
