So, how do people lube their 7x7s? I've got Maru, Lubix and D-39, but don't want to experiment incase I mess it up.

Kind of late, but whatever. I never learned 3OP, but a lot of beginners use it. Old Pochmann I learned in about an hour. (it's pretty intuitive)

I once lubed mine with Lubix, but I saw no improvement. Nowadays I use Maru, but it would be good to find a more permanent solution.

Today I ordered some Cubesmith stickers for my Ultimate Lubix Guhong today because the original ones on my Guhong are getting worn pretty bad. (They've lasted about 2 months.) Now I remembered that my Ultimate Lubix Guhong came with a back-up set of stickers. I know that Cubesmith are supposed to be the best, but what brand of stickers came with my Guhong, and are they worth putting on my cube, or will they get worn quickly like the original set? Should I just wait and use my Cubesmith stickers that are coming, or are these good quality?

Just wait for the Cubesmith. It will save you a set of stickers and the time of reapplying stickers.

If the guhong is your main then wait for cubesmith. If itd not or you don't have any other cubes that you use then use the back up stickers.

It's been awhile since I've had to do this kind of thing, so I may be wrong, but I believe the probability of getting 3 OLL skips in a row in a session of 30 solves is

\( (\text{probability of OLL skip})^3\times(30-3+1) \approx \frac{1}{359 918} \)


Of course this is just the probability of getting 3 OLL skips in a row on that one day. The probability of it happening on any day during the thousands of solves you've done in your life is significantly greater.
