i want this one http://www.electroflashmedia.com/index.php/mens-t-shirts/sound-eq/rubik-s-cube.html

question: What is the best way to remove the painted on stickers of a diansheng crazy 3x3x2. the color scheme is messing me up every time. and i do not want to learn 2 color schemes, that would get confusing.

EDIT: here is a video of the shirt http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nzqL05ZPm5M
and a different shirt http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S2Ofy6DcuD4

just dont order from bewild. read some reviews and they are a horrible site.

So shock oil is the poor mans lubix. What would be the poor mans maru lube? I ask this because it is the only lube that works well on 2x2's. When I use jigaloo or shock oil on it, it just gets gummy and slow even when I hardly use a smigin of it.

So basically... Anything like maru lube?!?!?!

What 2 look OLL algs and 2 look PLL algs do I need to know to solve megaminx? Is there a "badmephisto" site which most learn from? How many algs are needed for 4LLL?

The way you would want to do it is edge orientate(3 easy algs like F R U R' U'). Corner orient(17 algs, some you know). Edge perms(7, 4 of them are y and t perm like). Lastly intuitive CPLL. So 30 algs that are very easy to learn.

There is no badmephisto site for megaminx but this site is great for the cases and algorithms. The site on the wiki page are ok if you want to use those.

Not to badger, but 3 EO + 17 CO + 7 EP is not 30.

A newb to CPLL can't really utilize intuitive CP.

The way I solve is Orient edges - FRURUF algs from 3x3, then Permute edges - 5 algs all based around sune. Then Orient corners - 8, tho I only use the 3 that are the same alg with a different start and end, just two algs. then intuitive Permute corners with R' D R [U, U' U2 U3] x whatever(always an odd number)

heres my algs

PE algs:

* Rotate 3 adjacent edges clockwise (U/R -> U/BL -> U/BR):
(R+ U++) (R- U-) (R+ U- R-)

* Rotate 3 adjacent edges counterclockwise (U/R ->U/BR -> U/BL):
(R+ U+) (R- U+) (R+ U-- R-)

* Rotate 3 non-adjacent edges clockwise (U/R -> U/BR -> U/L):
(R+ U+) (R- U++) (R+ U++ R-)

* Rotate 3 non-adjacent edges counterclockwise (U/R -> U/L -> U/BL):
(R+ U--) (R- U-) (R+ U-- R-)

* Swap an adjacent pair, and a non-adjacent pair of edges (U/R <-> U/L and U/BR <-> U/BL):
(R+ U+) (R- U+) (R+ U-) (R- U++) (R+ U++ R-)

OC algs:

* 2 adjacent corners - Rotate U/F/L counterclockwise (CC) and U/F/R clockwise (C):
L- (R+ BR+) (BL- BR-) (R- BR+) (BL+ BR-) L+

* 2 adjacent corners - Rotate U/F/R C and U/R/BR CC:
(R+ BR+) (BL- BR-) (R- BR+) (BL+ BR-) (Note - this is the same as the previous alg without the L turns)

* 2 non-adjacent corners - Rotate U/F/L CC and U/R/BR C:
(R- F+) (R+ BR-) (R- F-) (R+ BR+)

* 2 non-adjacent corners - Rotate U/F/L C and U/R/BR CC:
R- (F- L-) (F+ R+) (F- L+ F+)

* 3 adjacent corners - Rotate U/F/L, U/F/R, and U/R/BR CC:
(R- U+) (L+ U-) (R+ U+) (L- U-) (last U- only necessary for edge realignment)

* 3 adjacent corners - Rotate U/F/L, U/F/R, and U/L/BL C:
(L+ U-) (R- U+) (L- U-) (R+ U+) (again, last U+ only necessary for edge realignment)

* 3 non-adjacent corners - Rotate U/F/L, U/F/R, and U/BL/BR C:
L- (BL- BR-) (R+ BR+) (BL+ BR-) (R- BR+) L+

* 3 non-adjacent corners - Rotate U/F/L, U/L/BL, and U/R/BR CC:
F+ (R+ BR+) (BL- BR-) (R- BR+) (BL+ BR-) F-

All in all my LL is approx. 30ish seconds, tho i hardly ever practice, just solve more for fun.
Been out of the cubing world for a while, hope this is what you wanted.

I got those algs off the interwebs along time ago, and forgot where. Also here is a site with oodles of algs. http://sites.google.com/site/permuteramera/

EDIT: same link as above

Basically you R' D R [U, U' U2 U3] times however many times needed.
you use R' D' R to get the corner out of the top layer, in the case of a megaminx its R' DR(i think) R then you find where the corner you removed from the top layer goes and position it in the same area you removed the previous corner, then reverse your alg R' D R. that will insert your corner into its corrct spot, whilst taking an incorrect corner out, then you find where that corner goes and reverse it yet again to R' D' R, and repeat yada yada yada. And my mistake oin preivious post, i meant even number of times tho only odd number of pieces can be cycled.

What magics are better out of cubetwist and LA?

I have and love LA brands. They are way better than rubik's imo. I bought a cubetwist for my nephew, and it broke after about two days. Tho he is 8, so I doubt that has anything to do with quality. lol

At near 2:50, what is he *really* judging that .3 millimeters from? The very base of the core to the beginning of the cap face? The stem length? He never says.

I think he is saying that if you pull a center peice outwards there should be 4 millimeters space between the bottom of the center piece and the core piece. This is to get an even tension throughout the whole puzzle.

Kinda lucky mine didn't need modding, after a lil lubix its pretty amazing.

Hey guys. I stopped cubing like 2? months ago, and I checked lightake. DAYUM There's a **** load of new cubes. Anybody wanna update me on the most popular cubes of each event?
