@Hershey
Yep, but it's rather vague- I've actually also been trying to pull out as much info from that thread as possible. Statue shows it from a ZZ point of view, however, thus not giving the full picture of the whole method.

They seem to be quite secretive of the method (or, more like add-on to methods).

In fact, the only mention I have ever seen of roux with zeroing is this: "It is a stage before the blocks, which may have a higher move count but lets you stick to a similar solution every time"
And I can't even remember where I saw that.
A phase before blocks? Does he mean setting up easy cases for both blocks? I admit, I am very confused...

Have you found any other posts on the internet about this?

We are talking about applying this to other methods.

Its some screwed up conspiracy... lol

EDIT: nevermind ,just watched the video and I'm now throughly confused.

Maybe if I find Stachu or Waffo in some competition I will try to get some info out of them about primary and secondary phasing.

EXACTLY.

The trouble is, we don't know whether they are lying or not. It sounds like a perfectly feasible theory, but applying it to your usual speedsolves it difficult.
Not only that, but to make matters worse (for us at least) they are also defining it very vaguely.

The way I see it, we are either going to get good answers, or there's going to be madness. (I can already feel it)

Yes, but if they are keeping it secret here, they'll probably keep it a secret in competitions...
I hope we get a good answer.

After reading patrickjameson's post, I have to say, you're right, stachu. Although I don't know exactly how it would crumble the community, I know I don't want that to happen.
