Who is someone that only uses green cross, and someone who only uses red cross?

White - Too many
Yellow - Breandan Vallance
Blue - Anthony Brooks
Orange - Giovanni Contardi

Nah, Andrew only uses white.
I know in one Cubecast episode he said "When I try to do yellow cross, I have to try so hard not to look for white corners".

Is there any way I can complete the CP and EP steps of the Lars Vandenbergh method for square-1 with less algs?

The CP algs are all really easy to learn and there aren't many of them - just go ahead and learn them all. If I can handle them, anyone can.

EP is different, though. Dan Cohen's site has a pretty nice small subset of EP that you can use - combine it with his parity algorithm and you don't have many to learn at all. The only problem is that there are a few EP cases that still work, but can get pretty ugly with just that subset. (Either that, or I'm doing those cases wrong, which is entirely possible.) (It's those cases, with parity, that I can never seem to get sub-45 with.)
