Badmephisto's site categorises the OLLs per trigger http://badmephisto.com/oll.php which may be a good way to learn. Always compare the algs on a site to the Wiki here as you may find an alternative that is better for you. If I had realised this I would not have re-learned 8 OLLs a second time around!
I followed the advise of the community here when learning them. It seems a daunting task but if you learn them slowly there are actually not that difficult and well worth the effort. Best of luck
How do you tell the difference between a DaYan Guhong and a DaYan Lingyun? (e.g. by taking them apart, or otherwise positively identifying them. [I have both, but, maybe have mixed them up after taking them out of the boxes!)
It doesn't really matter, so long as you are actually practicing, and not just mechanically doing solves.
When I practice, I usually go for a solid 1-2 hours

Tension and lube it for sure. I just lubed it again, after a few months, and it's much better. Also, when I got it, it seemed to have internal pops, so I played with the tensions, and that made it great.
I posted this as a thread, however I was told to post it as a one answer...
This is about the 4x4(I forgot to specify in the post):
Hi, I was wondering if there is a pure dedge flip that I can use that does not mess with centers at all OR swaps them in a perpendicular to the dedge being flipped, so that you can do something like r parity r' without it messing up the centers. Sorry if there is a post somewhere about this, I couldnt find one.
