originally learned a method in which you pair up one edge piece at a time move the newly paired piece out of the way and then realign the center

Do the movecounts for completing the cross that most people talk about consider M slice moves?
If not, does anyone know the movecount average when taking them into account?

two.

What is better, lubix elite or ultimate?
heard elite takes more effort to turn

is this the best f-perm? R' U' F' T-Perm without last F' U R?

I can sub 4 it

You could try the V perm variation. R' U2 R' U' y R' F' R2 U' R' U R' F R U' F

and watch this for other ideas http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yangrM_N1Pc

Are there any tutorials on how to make custom magic tiles?

All you need is a template (here) and a restringing guide (3 posts in)

Feel free to PM me with any addition questions.

What is a good video editing program, that can cut and edit clips. Preferably a free open source one.

@Havoc, windows movie maker

I tried it, I couldn't figure out how to edit individual clips. Only put clips together.

Take your pick

I personally recommend Blender, but choose whichever you like.

Blender is 3D graphics and stuff like that. Ive used if for depth maps and stereograms. To the extent of my knowledge it doesn't edit existing videos.
but thanks, hopefully lightworks is good. It was the only one I found that wasn't linux and looked promising. lol

Freeslice afaik is an edge building method, you build two opposite centers and pair the rest in 2x1 blocks (4x4) so that you can pair many of the edges using the slice between your first built centers. After you have filled the edges around yuur centers (L, R) you can easily finish your centers with U2, F2, B2, D2 and r or l slices.
ummm.... I believe that is the Yau method.

Clearup: Yau is a little mod to the reduction method, when after you build the first two centers (opposite) you make the cross edges (and put them around one of your centers) finish centers and continue with later edge pairing so when all edges built you continue straight with f2l.
So it would go something like
Opposite centers
8 edge pairs.
Remaining centers
then last four edge pairs
That would be the breakdown although its very useful before start building the edges, to pair the centers in 2x1 blocks so when building the centers the built edges go from one built center to another. Think it in the same fashion where yuu have to keep U+M edge orientation in roux.

This is all I read
If you where to create a left block 1x3x4 and you wanted to preserve it for the last two edges (where you have the same color on each) what would you use to solve this?
Edit: nevermind I will figure this out myself

Thanks for all the help!

What did you need to modify a specific clip for? It's all straightfoward.

What did you need done?

Need to edit a single 40 minute video down to about 10.

Like my dayan 4x4 assembly vid, its like 40 minutes because I didnt want to start stop start stop, and edit them together.

Sorry:fp on my part

But why does it have to be non Gnu/Linux?

But anyway I appreciate the love for free software:D
