It could have to do with mixing lubes, try cleaning it first.

Speaking of, I normally clean my pieces with warm soapy water, is there a better way to get rid of all of the silicone residue?

The slowing happened before I put d39 in, the mixing had no effect on the speed...

I have 30wt Shock oil, D39, lubix, and CRC, what will speed it up the most, perhaps a different lube?

I'd suggest, based on personal experience with my lingyun, to disassemble and clean, then apply lubix to the core, re-assemble and lube the pieces.

It worked for my lingyun, and I tried doing it without cleaning and it was ok, but after cleaning, it was better.
But I made the mistake of using too much and had to take it apart and wipe a lot off.

I use my Lingyun for OH, until I get something better, but it works fine for me, dropped my times 15 seconds.

i was just wondering if i'd change in my cube pieces in middle layer for the same pieces but from white cube (so i'd have a black cube with four white edges), do you think, that it would help me with F2L? and would WCA be ok with that?

That would definitely help you with F2L lookahead of edges BUT WCA wouldn't approve.

Are 000000 crazy 3x3x3 cubes available anywhere? Meaning a circle 3x3x3 cube where all faces behave the same way. If I search for circle cube on youtube I see that they do seem to exist (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x8B7PaNAlDY and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=--XIh2ijJW8 for instance), but I can only find the crazy 3x3x3 plus versions in every website I've looked so far.

Not sure what you are talking about but these are what was in that video (except the last one)

EDIT: Nevermind.

EDIT2: Mercury has 5 sides that let the pieces move around them. That's the closest I could find.

Something like this was asked a while back. And no answer was found. A few people suggested mixing a few of the plus puzzles to make a normal one.
But it was not known if it is possible to do that.

Top 100 in the world are sub1, so that is good.

That's top 100 solves (37 of which are Haiyan's); it's just 21 people.

I have yet to get a sub-1 at home, so I suppose I'm still not good at 3x3x3 BLD. But I guess that's borne out by my competition results - 21 competitions, 21 3x3x3 BLD events, zero wins at that event. :p

I found that CRC+Jigaloo makes my cube amazing its a little slow on application but it is amazing after a few hours. (don't spray in a ton just a little of each)

waffo's OH roux solve he posted a while ago is comp legal? I mean the PLL he had to do using the table is valid with current wca rules?

Yes.
# C1b) During the solve no other body part or any object other than the surface must touch the puzzle. Penalty: disqualification of the solve.

You may use the surface to solve OH. There has been some discussion to possibly change that rule, but as the rules exist today, it is legal.

Either the Dayan I or II was called the taiyan.

It is the:
Taiyan 1
Dayan II
Dayan Gu Hong
Dayan Lingyun
Dayan Gu Hong POM

the company switched their name or something go sold from tiyan or something i dont know the whole story but thats how it goes
None were ever actually called the Taiyan, I believe the name was mistranslated and somehow it got to be the common name.

This has been asked before, and its COLL-ELL.

No, it's not, as asked before, if you are going to answer a question, please get it right.
