what is d39 like? what about cyclo, maru, lubix, tableau, etc.?

What is the best cube under $10 that can be purchased from cube depot?

I need some cubes better than rubik's but the same price to get for friends.

if you are looking for just a cube that is basically the Rubiks but in DIY version that is cheep get the Lan Lan 3x3 its just a DIY rubiks brand pretty much but better and its only 6.50$ also the GHII, Shenshou 3x3, AV-f, A2, also the GH2003A are all less then 10 bucks yet pretty good cubes and good for beginners the 2 best in there are the A2 and the AV-f IMO

i like my qj 48mm its pretty good for beginners, might be a bit small if you have big hands

yh i missed that U2,its actually a good algorithm but U2s slow me down.

so i switched to this one which was posted by someone above x U2 r' U' r U2 l' U R' U' R2 which has the U2 in the starting...so the ending should be fast.hopefully i can sub 1.5 this with practice.

Because the QQtimer scrambles aren't optimal. They are a 25 length scramble of random moves, so it does not generate an optimal state for the cube.

My QJ megaminx pops very often, maybe 7 times in 10 solves. It is at the same tension as when it was in the box, so should I tension it? If not, how can I make it better?

Had the same problem with my square 1, just tighten it.
