Why do you get that idea? I don't see why it wouldn't be allowed. Just because a scramble give advantage to a few methods, doesn't mean it shouldn't be allowed.

So what you are saying is that if we get a scramble next comp with the entire F2L done and only the LL to go we should give it to Fazzles?

What if a method solves the cube in one look, at some other certain stage in solving? Why get rid of the scramble, because it is an advantage for Roux, Petrus, CFOP, etc. I'm not saying the someone solves certain cases in one look, that wouldn't be useful whatsoever to CFOP, but you can't be biased towards removing a scramble, because it helps certain methods. Only time for a short response as I have to go, but surely others agree?

Ok so what you are saying now is that having two thirds of the cube solved should not mean the scramble classifies as worthy of being thrown out. The reason for this is because some people, e.g. those that do corners first, would not have that much of an advantage. Do you really want to defend this point?

here is how wca cubes are scramble from what i understand

first the take a scrambled cube and put it into a program that solves it.
the algorithm used to solve it is the algorithm that will be used to scramble.

so having f2l right from the start in a competition is statistically improbable
if fact, multiple cross pieces placed already is pretty rare from my cubing experience. i have never gotten more than 2

and if after the cross is done the f2l is already done, then congrats. there is no reason it wouldn't count seeing as more than one way to solve the cross on all six sides.and same goes for other methods.

the only super easy solve from the start that i can think of is for ZZ and either already have all edges oriented or have the EOline done as well. because both of those would be rediculous.

uhh what. You're totally wrong. Who fed you that information? Scrambles are printed on a sheet of paper, then each competitor gives the scramblers a solved cube and each cube is then scrambled according to the scrambles provided

Are you trying to be dumb? And please, please, at least capitalize the first word in each sentence.
Also, take a cube in which the solution is R U R' U R U2 R' L' U R U' L U R'
If you use that as a scramble, F2L is solved.

First off, I read somewhere on the forums that that is how they get the scrambling algs
I stand corrected, they go straight to a scrambling program

And second, considering that those moves only happen if all the edges are oriented, and the front and back cross pieces are placed. I believe that is EOline which i mention is possible

I did not say impossible, I said improbable, which means highly unlikely, yet still possible.
Since I corrected myself, that algorithm is now impossible, because scrambling programs use all six sides.

Not 2x2 and not neccesarily 3x3.

I believe this entire conversation is about 3x3, though I may be wrong.

Unless a scrambling program is written to not use a move, or to only use some of the moves. (ex. only R R' L L' U U' D D' F F')
It will use all six sides. though it may not be every single scramble. To properly scramble a 3x3, I believe a minimum of 4 sides need to be turn, use both sides of two axis. In order to scramble, otherwise pieces will remain solved.

and on your comment earlier, its a forum not an english class.

moving on, what is a good method for 4x4 centers besides one at a time?
youtube tutorial link? possibly the same method faz uses. he is insane

and like how you solve the cross in your head during inspection, how many centers should be solved in your head before the solve starts?

u can use 2pairing or 6 pairing. both are fast and one isnt better then the other

im sure youtube has tutorials, though 2pairing is when u solve 2 edge pairs at once obviously, 6 is when you do 6. i think 2 allows for better flow though when an easy case c omes up i do 6 pair.
i plan out 2 colors (white/yellow) but i lookahead while im doing those 2 for the 3rd, if its an easy scramble then i go for a 4th side
