What cube feels the same as a mini type C (cuts corners) but rarely pops?, because I lost an orange center cap for it.
Also, can I put my initials on a cube to know that it's mine?
Lastly, any vids for how to figure out the number of permutations on ANY cubic puzzle? (n^3):confused::confused:

Hi, im trying to improve my cross. Is there a program or application that generates the best solution? I mean like you type the scramble and it shows the best solution so i can compare it to my own.

thanks in advance

wow really! thanks, i didn't actually expect that. I will try to experiment a little with it.

And i have one more question. I think i remember i've read somewhere in an algorithim the notation "Lw". What does this mean?

Edit: what's CCT?

Lw is a wide turn. Say you were solving a 4x4, and you see Lw. You would turn BOTH of the left layers, instead of just one. Sometimes it is also written as "l."

CCT is a cube timer.

If the magic is solved but have a corner landed on the timer when it was stopped would that count as DNF?

I average around 1.1-1.2 and I always have that happen to me, so frustrating.

I'm 32 years old, started cubing about 6 months ago (learning full Fridrich now, 45" avg and 35.64 PB).

I'm aware that starting cubing at this age makes things a little more difficult than starting at a youger age (say, when you are 15 years old) if you are looking for speed. So the question: any of you guys also started cubing in their 30s+, and how fast you were after 6 months? Do you think that age plays a big factor in speedcubing?

Its nice to join this forums, btw :)
