What are some examples of young big cube BLDers, or of good teenage ones?

Also, has anyone else done a 7x7 blindfolded besides Mike? I can't wait until I finally finish 4x4 BLD. But man, that thing is just a monster to memo! I mean, it's only one order greater, but it's so BIG :(:p
I'm 15 (almost 16) and I do 4bld, attempting 5bld.

I think I'm sub8 at 4bld, and I plan on getting a 5bld by the end of June. Also, I want 6bld/7bld by Christmas :p

BTW, I think Ville has done a 7bld. Also, try doing 3x3 multi before 4bld, because it's good practice for memorizing more at once.

Curse you aronpm, you're getting in the way of my plans :p Well yeah, I have done every step of 4bld individually, and I use different memos for edges and centers, so I should be fine for both at the same time (I use the term 'fine' very loosely here). I just turned 14 about a month ago.

As for multiBLD, check my WCA profile :( Those were REALLY hard scrambles, and Chester would agree with me. But I don't try multiBLD too much, as I am totally a visual memoer(Except for 4x4 centers). I want to learn journey, though.

Thanks :)
One more thing, how do you get a WCA profile? Is it from joining a comp or do you have to make one yourself?

You join a competition for the first time by registering for one on the website. Go to the competition, sign in, compete in what you want, go home. Within a day, the results go up into the website. By then, you will be assigned one.

Is it hard to disassemble and reassemble a mini QJ 4x4x4? I wanna adjust the tensions and lube it, but I'm scared I won't be able to put it back together.

If face turns aren't natural, why use it? Oka is about the only method I know that uses face turns and it has a max of three per solve...it just seemed strange although it's logical for cubes to be face-turning, the internal angles of the pyraminx is just too little for that to work I guess.

Becuase it is very efficent. It put the centers and some of the edges in at once, and gives you a good time to do the annoying tips.

Nope, its actually pretty easy. Just like a rubiks, or anything with a ball core. Look at MMAP's tutorial.

Just so you know, I actually wrote this up like 3 hours ago, and then firefox crashed on me, and it turned out it was still saved
