Is it hard to disassemble and reassemble a mini QJ 4x4x4? I wanna adjust the tensions and lube it, but I'm scared I won't be able to put it back together.

I found it quite easy. If you have a Rubik's 4x4, it's the exact same concept.

Would a cube be allowed to compete if it has one missing sticker? I doubt it but just asking.

what forums do you visit except this one?
Who are you asking?
But if you mean other Cubing forums, there's the TwistyPuzzles and official Rubik's.
is it good to mod the springs by Lengthening them?
Do not shorten them. Unless of course, you aren't a fan of corner cutting, which I find hard to believe :3

Probably not.

If you get a pop at the very end of the solve and everything is unambiguously solved (such as one edge & one corner popped, etc.) does it still count as a DNF?

yes you should ask one of the Canadians about it.

5b5) If, after the solve, non functional parts of the puzzle are still defect (like a centre cap of a cube) or not fully rotated (like a 5x5x5 centre piece twisted in its spot), but the puzzle is otherwise unambiguously solved, the puzzle is considered solved. (discretion of the main judge)

edges or corners are functional therefore this exception is not valid.

10d) All pieces of a puzzle must be fully attached to the puzzle, and in their required positions. Exceptions: see Article 5 Puzzle defects.

Again, sorry Sarah :p

Why are M, E, & S the way they are? Wouldn't it make more sense for them to follow the same way as x, y, & z?

Yea, it probably should (or at least all 3 being the *wrong* way), but it's too late to change it now. I have no idea who started the concept of M, E, and S, nor why they chose how they are performed.
