Is there an alternative to full MGLS that I can use while learning all the algorithms? Besides normal fridrich?

EDIT: Sorry about the double post, now I'm going to get yelled at because of my 6 post's per day.

You could use ZZ, that way you only have to learn the CLS part of MGLS.

??? Explain, you'd still have to orient the edges, wouldn't you?

EOline, Left 1x2x2, Right 1x2x2, Left 1x1x2, FR edge (4 move moves maximum, usually 3 moves, very intuitive), CLS, PLL.

Are your times better when you scream, shout, or yell? I was just wondering this, I would be really interested in seeing the results. If you wanted to, you could do 10 solves, make the odd numbered ones into an average of 5, make the even ones into an average of 5, and then compare them.

I've been trying K4 on 6x6, but I fail at the LL. I usually start applying random commutators from this page until I have a solved cube. :(

How do I deal with two switched edges?

EDIT: Nevermind, I've got it.

Hey guys, noob question here from a total noob.

Why do my cubes turn to crap after a few months?
I mean, the plastic feels the same, I'm adding more lubricant than ever, but the crisp feeling is gone.
I can't notice any damage to the cube's structure apart from the friction grooves which don't even penetrate past half a millimetre.

I simply can't fathom why my Jsks, type Cs, joy cube, storebought, type As don't feel crisp or fast anymore.
Another assumption I've made is that the lubricant has slightly changed the surface of the plastic.

Is there any way to circumvent this "wearing out" other than not using the cubes?

Again, I'm asking this because I have so little experience with cubes.

Dear complete noob, I have similar experiences with my cubes, and I have found some success by scraping off the very outer layer of plastic off the cubies with a little blade/razor. I think the plastic just...degrades, it's quite odd. Do you use silicone oil by any chance? I've also found that not using/adding lube to the cube keeps it in the same state, even if lube is in it while at rest, so I think it might just be those little grooves.
