What is that last slot method called that skips OLL if all the pieces except for the F2L pieces are oriented? Examples would includ L' U2 R U R' U2 L for the regular pair F2L case, or triple sledgehammer.

Winter variation?

EDIT: that's not right. Winter variation (and CLS) is a subset of this.

EDITEDIT: nevermind that's not right either

OLL PLL Algorithms

I know F2L and I ll learn oll pll next. How many algorithms I need to learn for doing 15-20. (all the cube 15-20)

you probably want to learn full pll (that really helps) and maybe half of oll. learn all of the cross algs and probably all the No Edges Flipped Correctly algs. also what are you averaging on F2L ?

In an algorithm like this: (F R U') (R' U' R U) (R' F') (R U R' U') (R' F R F'), how would one fingertrick the F-primes? I feel this is a good example algorithm because it has an F' inside and at the end. I can perform the closing F' pretty well, but after practicing the perm about 100 times, I just can't figure out how to keep a good flow during the inner F'. Thanks.

The first F' can be flicked by the left index finger from ULR to LFD. The last F' can either be performed by the right thumb, or the last four moves can be performed as l' U R U'.

Inner F' can be done with a right index push as well.

Is it okay if I wash my Shengshou 5x5 with water to get rid of sticker residue before restickering, or is this a terrible idea that will completely ruin my 5x5 forever? What about a Moyu Aosu or Shengshou megaminx? I haven't really restickered a cube before so I don't know
